An international company providing
e-commerce solutions and marketing services was looking for a software development manager to lead a team of 20 employees in the software development department and also manage other areas. Due to the close cooperation with the american parent company, international experience was expected, as well as a high level of fluency in written and spoken business English and at least five years of professional experience in a leadership position. The potential candidate was expected to have a Master´s in Computer Science as well as skills in software development with specified technologies.
Two months later a candidate we had recommended to the company signed his employment contract with our client. His annual salary was € 120.000.
