Our client is a high-tech company in the field of hardware development, where the associated software also plays a very important role.

You lead a team of highly qualified engineers and software developers working on high-tech hardware development projects.

München (Home Office up to 40%)

Your Duties

  • As a Technical Software Development Team Leader, you will lead and support a team of highly qualified engineers and software developers working on high-tech hardware development projects. This includes:
  • Project planning, prioritizing requirements, and ensuring quality standards during implementation (testing, reviews, documentation).
  • Facilitating technical discussions to reach sound decisions.
  • Coordinating collaboration with hardware and software teams.
  • Communicating with stakeholders, including senior management, regarding progress, risks, and requirements.
  • Helping to set up new projects.
  • Participating in team building, selecting new employees, and onboarding.
  • Fostering team culture and supporting the personal development of employees.

Your profile

  • Several years of professional experience as a Senior Developer/Engineer
  • Experience leading deep-tech teams
  • Solid expertise in embedded systems, software architecture, and hardware-oriented development
  • Experience in fields such as robotics, aviation, medical technology, laser technology, or similar areas
  • Experience with HiL testing
  • Experience in agile project management
  • Strong skills in team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus
