For our recruiting and outplacement services, the fee amounts to a percentage of the candidates‘ gross annual salary. The percentage is subject to negotiation. Fair and standard percentages, depending on the level of complexity, vary between 25% and 30%. Terms and conditions for an executive search and Vesterling CandidatePro as well as for contractors regularly differ. For contractors and temporary employments, reduced fees apply.
For outsourcing and consulting, the fee may be based on hourly rates. The assessment of the candidates' personal and technical qualities is a key feature of our services. Our fee, therefore, cannot be compared to the fee of agencies which simply forward candidate profiles.
For recruiting, our fee is success-based and only due upon successfully concluded employment contracts. We do not charge down payments or travel expenses. Although we post job ads in many leading job markets, we do not charge our clients.
If you are currently looking for a cheaper competitor, we would like to ask you to consider the words of the English social reformer John Ruskin (1819-1900):
"There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person‘s lawful prey. It is unwise to pay too much, but it is also unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought is incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better."
