A German trade company with 600 branches all over Europe was looking for a new IT leader who was to report directly to the board. These were the tasks: leading a team of 40 employees, developing strategies for the companywide IT systems and overseeing the IT infrastructure in various locations. The candidate was expected to have a university degree in computer science and profound experience in SAP. They were looking for a candidate with leadership skills in the IT sector but who had originally come from the manufacturing or trade sector.
Two months later a candidate we had recommended to the company signed his employment contract with our client. His annual salary was € 125.000.
